Homestay in Quebec City with Local Families
Host families consist of local francophone families, selected to ensure an optimal, culturally rich immersion experience. Students are matched with a family by the accommodation coordinator based on their interests and profile, and the information she receives from students through the application form. The adult student can choose for either 1, 2 or 3 meals included with accommodation in a host family. The teenage programs include 3 meals per day.
Options:
• 3 meals: Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner
• 2 meals: Breakfast and Dinner
• 1 meal: Breakfast
1.1. Screening Process of Host Families
In order to be accepted in the program, families submit an application, along with references and police background checks for all residents 18 years and older. The accommodation coordinator visits the family to conduct an interview and to inspect the premises. Following these steps, a decision is made as to the suitability of the hosts. Most of our host families in the program have been receiving students for years.
